Join the UK’s nerdiest choir!
Ready Singer One is the choir you should join. Let us over-enthusiastically convince you.
A unique concept
We are the only UK-based choir to exclusively sing songs from video games, movies, TV series, anime. Because we are extremely cool.
Piano and percussion at each rehearsal
Two absolutely brilliant live musicians. And a choir director. Because you deserve the best.
Small-ish groups
We limit our choir groups to 50ish people. You’ll feel a strong sense of musical responsibility and community!
Exciting concerts
We’ve sung at the Science Museum regularly, at Hyper Japan, with the London Video Game Orchestra… and have an exciting program of gigs coming up!
A welcoming community
Our tight-knit community warmly welcomes all nerds, misfits, artists, hipsters and people of the world.
Social events
Like, so many! Scavenger hunts, arcade bar parties, TTRPGs, movie nights, Theatre outings… many (optional, fun) events to add to your social calendar.

How many gold coins?
£34.50 per month, payable via Direct Debit.
You sign up for a whole term (4 months) at a time.
If you’re joining in the middle of the term, you will pay pro-rata for the number of rehearsals left.
That’s the average price for a London choir / hobby. (puts shiny smug hat on) However. We’re not average. That’s also cheaper (per week) than: a drunk Deliveroo pizza, getting your nails done on one hand, an IPhone charger, a house.
Your trial session is half price! Hat is thrown in air.
FAQ (frantically assessed quagmires)
Why are you so cool?
It’s the concert outfits. And the choir director. And the cathartic shouting at the beginning of Dragonborn.
Can i swap to Tuesday/Wednesday on a week I can’t make my group?
Yes, and even better, you can actually attend both rehearsals, every week, at no extra cost! (No one actually does this for now - look at you, having a life). You will sing concerts with your main group.
What’s the repertoire?
Only excellent songs from video games, TV series, movies, and anime. Members can suggest songs! Here are a few of our favourites:
Gotta Catch Them All (Pokemon)
Dragonborn (Skyrim)
Burn, Butcher Burn (The Witcher)
Daughter of the Sea (World of Warcraft)
Duel of the Fates (Star Wars)
Guren no Yumiya (Attack on Titan)
Still Alive (Portal)
Do I need to audition?
Nope. Nerds are introverts, we feel you. However, we do ask that you have a good awareness of singing in tune.
Do I need to read sheet music?
Nope. But you might just learn a little, from rehearsals! All music is taught by ear, and sheet music is given out.
HOW MANY FRIENDS WILL I MAKE?
We cap each of the two Ready Singer One groups at 50-ish singers. So that’s, like, at least two new friends.
